This is excellent news for me! My heart rate used to always be on the slow side, but with these thyroid problems they were regularly clocking it at 100.
Normal women's: 75 or so.
I've been pretty good about exercising of late, so hopefully this healthy pulse will maintain. Woo! My heart is really the only thing I worry about with the hyperthyroidism - because it's really unknown the effects of extremely low TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormones) on pre-menopausal women. On post-menopausal - major effects on heart and bone density loss.
Major benefit to being overweight - less bone density loss.
So maybe as long as I exercise and stay fat, my body will be fine.
