We had the most amazing thunderstorm last night - I've never seen anything like it. Or heard - it was like gun shots in the next room. I tried to figure out how close the lightning was by the timing with thunder - but I couldn't tell which lightning and which thunder was connected - there was so much of it.
Now, four hours later, I look out and while the sky is eerie, creepy grey still, everything else looks normal.
We got an alert about what to do during exams if the storm shuts off electricity and therefore our exams freeze.
Crazy, crazy, crazy. We got hurricanes, tornadoes, caterpillar infestations, floods, and now this? Wow. I can't imagine what I would have thought if I were a prehistoric person out in that storm.
