So, yesterday when I decided to go out and do my shopping, a little voice told me not to wait - to do it now. I listened to that voice, though it wasn't my plan for the day.
Two hours later, the route that I take was so flooded that cars were submerged. My Tundra's got high clearance, but it ain't THAT high!
We got about 5 inches of rain in a few hours.
CRAZY.
Moral of the story: that little voice - I need to listen to it all the time. And always get houses above ground level.
